Do not forget the train!
The train defies time and the seasons.
Some times, it is suspended on the granite slope, lost in a mineral kaleidoscope.
Other times, it follows the paths of transhumance, goes into exile to the borders of Corsica or escapes towards the most wild places like the Forest of Vizzavona.

1 DAY TRIP suggested by the Office of the Forests : Departure by train in Bastia at 7.00 or 9.00 o'clock; guided tour in the forest of Vizzavona with a forester of the Office; picnic in the forest, return in the evening at
about 18.30 o'clock. Information are available by phone at the Office of the Forests.
